Cook (Malay Cuisine)

Admiralty or Changi Full-time

To plan, cook and serve food in the canteen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and preparation of Malay cuisine.
  • Cook and prepare assigned dishes for serving according to the menu.
  • Ensure that food handling and hygiene regulations are followed in accordance with NEA and other quality standards.
  • Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and sanitized including food processing equipment, cooking utensils and other light equipment.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment and report to the management of any faulty equipment.
  • Work closely and cooperate with all levels of staff & departments to achieve highest possible satisfaction on food items.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by the Kitchen Director.

Requirements

  • GCE 'O' Level / SPM / Diploma in Culinary Arts.
  • Malay Cuisine experience required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Willing to work in the East side of Singapore.
  • Present a positive and professional attitude at all times.
